Define thresholds for Performance insights

Updated over a month ago

We are excited to introduce custom thresholds in the performance insights! As an administrator, you can now set benchmark values for the overall score percentage to track student progress and identify areas of support more effectively. Read this article to learn more.

Navigating to Performance threshold settings

To configure performance thresholds, go to the ‘Insights’ module and select ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the left pane. Here, you can define a threshold level for the students’ overall score percentage, ensuring that values falling below the set thresholds are automatically highlighted in the insights dashboard.

We have provided a default threshold value, but you can customize it to suit your school’s performance tracking requirements. Click ‘Edit’ to customize the threshold for the score percentage.

Let’s explore how the performance thresholds impact the Insights dashboard.

In the example below, the ‘Mean score %’ column displays subject-wise mean scores, with values falling below the set threshold of 50% highlighted in red for easy identification.

Additionally, the ‘Students with overall score < 50%’ column indicates the number of students in each subject who scored below the threshold.
