We’ve introduced key improvements to your homepage to help you work faster, stay organized, and focus on what truly matters. With these new widget updates, you can get an instant snapshot of your classes for the day, manage attendance in lesser clicks, stay on top of your class assignments, and tailor your dashboard to suit your day-to-day needs. Let’s dive into the details!

Previously, there was no quick way to know your scheduled classes for the day. Plus, marking attendance required multiple clicks where you had to open each class and navigate to the right period.

The new Timetable widget on your homepage displays all your scheduled classes for the day, across all curricula you are teaching in one unified view.

By default, class cards in the Timetable widget appear without a background color. However, certain cards are highlighted to assist you in quickly identifying key activities or roles at a glance:

💡The yellow (you’re a substitute), dotted (someone else is substituting for you), and grey (non-teaching duty) cards will only be visible to schools where substitution and duty data is received via sync (i.e., integration with external SIS systems). Currently, these integrations are supported through Edval and Timetabling Solutions.

You’ll also see an expand icon on the top right of the widget. Clicking it opens the full ‘Timetable’ page, giving you a complete view of your week’s schedule.

Clicking on the class card will take you to the class page, opening it exactly where you left off. Additionally, if you tap on the pencil icon, it takes you directly to the attendance marking page for that specific class.

💡The pencil icon to mark attendance will only appear when attendance recording is set to period-wise or both daily and period-wise attendance.

The assignment widget provides a consolidated view of all tasks assigned to your students across your classes within the current curriculum. It helps you quickly identify tasks that need your attention - whether it's reviewing student submissions (To-review tab), responding to unread messages (Unread tab), or keeping track of upcoming tasks (Scheduled tab).

You’ll also notice a ‘New’ tag next to certain assignments. This indicates that there are new student submissions that haven’t been reviewed yet, helping you prioritize assignments that need your attention.

Additionally, any pending evaluations or evaluations that are not yet shared with students will appear as subtext below the assignment title, giving you more context at a glance.

Clicking on any task in the widget will take you directly to the submission page of that assignment, where you can immediately view submissions, evaluate work, or take further action.

Use the filter icon in the widget to narrow down tasks by grading period, classes you are teaching, or teacher.

Click the expand icon highlighted in the previous screen to jump to the ‘Assignments manager’ page, where you can get a more detailed view of tasks across all your classes.

We understand that every teacher works differently. That’s why we’re giving you full control to customize your homepage. Simply navigate to your ‘Profile’ and click on ‘Show/hide widgets’ to toggle ‘Timetable’, Assignment manager’, and ‘Toddle library’ widgets on or off based on your needs.
