We’re excited to introduce new enhancements to the ‘Progress reports’ module that give schools more control over how Attendance is displayed in reports. With this update, you can now choose to show or hide the attendance date range, display the number of operational days, and even edit the ‘Overall presence’ label to match your school’s terminology. Let’s explore these updates in detail.
Navigate to the Progress reports module
Navigate to the ‘Progress reports’ module under ‘Programme-wide configurations’ for your curriculum in the Admin portal.
Once inside, go to the ‘Progress report templates’ section, where you can access existing reports templates and create new ones. Click on a report template to access its details and modify it if required.
New options in the Attendance section
Inside a report template, head to the ‘Attendance’ section under Layout configurations to explore the updated options. Click the arrow next to the section to expand it.
As you enter the ‘Attendance’ section, you’ll see the same display options as before for choosing where to show attendance in your report. Click on any option to explore the updated configuration options.
Inside, you’ll now see three updated options under the ‘Configuration’ section: attendance date range, number of operational days, and the ability to rename the ‘Overall presence’ label. Let’s take a closer look at each.
Attendance date range
You can now choose whether or not to display the ‘Attendance date range’ in your report. The date range shown is based on the dates you define when setting up a report set.
💡Please note that this option is enabled by default.
Number of operational days
‘Number of operational days’ refers to the total number of working days in your school within the selected attendance date range. It helps provide clearer context for the attendance data shown in the report. You can easily choose whether or not to display this in your report as per your school’s requirements.
💡Please note that this option is enabled by default.
Renaming Overall presence
Lastly, you now have the option to edit the label of the ‘Overall presence’ field. Click the pencil icon to rename it based on your school’s needs.
The updated label will appear in the report template based on your latest configuration. Click on ‘Save and exit’ to apply your changes.
💡Please note that any changes made to a template mapped to existing reports will only apply to reports that are not yet locked.
That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
