Toddle now supports subject‑wise attendance reporting in progress reports for progressive curricula. If your school marks attendance period-wise, you can choose to display attendance data by subject, giving you greater flexibility to report it in the format that best fits your school’s needs.

You can configure how attendance is displayed in progress reports by navigating to:

Admin portal → Programme level configurations → Progress reports → Report templates → Tap on existing report/create new report→ Attendance section

In the ‘Attendance’ section, you will find new settings to enable subject-wise attendance reporting:

💡 The option to display attendance subject-wise is only available when you select the attendance frequency as ‘During each period’ or ‘In each period with daily attendance’.

Within both the ‘Separate page’ and ‘Progress summary page’ sections, you will find a new setting that lets you choose how attendance is displayed - cumulatively for all subjects, separately for each subject, or both.

The preview on the right shows how the selected options will appear in the report page. This gives you flexibility to present attendance data in a way that best matches your school’s reporting style.

In the ‘Subject reports’ section, you can select the attendance categories (e.g., Present, Absent, Late, Half Day) you want to display in the subject report page. The order of these categories can be easily rearranged using the drag handle (six-dot icon). Accordingly, the right-side preview shows how the selected options will appear in the individual subject report page.

Note that the attendance data displayed on a subject report page reflects only that subject. If a student has multiple classes under the same subject, the data will include the combined attendance from all those classes.
