We’re excited to introduce a much-requested enhancement to the Portfolio module! You can now view student portfolio posts from across academic years, making it easier to explore their learning journey over time. To make this experience even better, we’ve also introduced a new grid layout for a cleaner and more efficient browsing experience.
These updates are available to teachers, students, and family members when viewing portfolio posts from the student profile on the web.

View posts across academic years
Previously, you could only view portfolio posts from the current academic year. With this update, you can now view portfolio posts from previous academic years using the new academic year filter.
As an educator, you can navigate to a student’s profile and go to the ‘Portfolio’ tab. By default, you’ll see posts from the current academic year.
Here, use the drop-down filter to select the academic year you want to view. By default, it picks the start and end dates of the selected academic year, but you can also choose a custom date range to filter posts as per your needs.
Once you click ‘View posts’, all matching portfolio posts will instantly appear.
💡 Students and family members can also use this filter when viewing portfolio posts from the student profile on the web.
If you’re viewing portfolio posts for a specific class, you’ll see an additional ‘Folder’ filter next to the academic year filter. This allows you to narrow down posts to a particular folder, making it easier to find the exact posts you’re looking for.
💡 The folder filter is only available when a single class is selected. It won’t appear when viewing posts across all classes.
Redesigned grid view layout
The portfolio posts layout has been updated from a linear view to a grid-based layout. Posts now appear in card-style blocks, giving you a quick visual overview.
That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
