Share Worksheet responses as portfolio posts

Updated this week

Teachers and students can now add worksheet responses to the portfolio posts - making them just as shareable as assessments and learning experiences. This update makes it easier to showcase evaluated worksheets in student portfolios, ensuring every piece of learning evidence is captured in one place.

Access points

Both teachers and students can add a worksheet response to the portfolio posts. As with other tasks, teachers can only add the response after the worksheet has been marked as evaluated. Students can add it directly to their portfolio once it has been submitted.

For students

Students can add their submitted worksheet response from the task page using the ‘Add to portfolio’ button at the top-right.

For teachers

Teachers can add a student’s worksheet response to the portfolio using two access points:

Via the ‘All submissions’ page

On the ‘All submissions’ page, use the ‘Add to portfolio’ button available next to the ‘Shared’ column in any student row.

💡 Currently, it is not possible to add worksheet submissions for multiple students in bulk from this page.

Via the individual submission page

On the individual submission page, use the ‘Add to portfolio’ button from the right panel. Additionally, you can download the worksheet as a PDF by clicking the ‘download’ icon beside it.

Upon clicking the Add response to portfolio’ button, you will be directed to the regular portfolio creation page. Here, the submitted worksheet is converted into a PDF and added as an attachment to the post.

Click on the PDF to preview it.

Upon opening the worksheet, you will see key details, evaluated assessment tools, a complete list of questions, student responses, teacher comments, and more.

For text response questions, the student’s written answer is displayed below each question. For formats such as multiple choice, true/false, or fill-in-the-blanks, it displays both the student’s response and the auto-correct answer (where applicable).

Additionally, you can download the worksheet as a PDF by clicking the ‘Download’ icon in the top-right corner.

Back on the portfolio creation page, you can input the necessary details required for the post. These remain the same when adding any other portfolio post. Once you have finalised the post, you can either save this post as a draft or publish it using the provided options.

Let’s now explore how students can view the post at their end.

Student’s end

As with any other portfolio post, the student will receive a notification when their work is shared, as shown below. If other students are tagged in the post, they will also be notified.

When they click on the notification, they are directed to the post, where they can view their worksheet PDF in theatre mode, along with key details on the right panel, such as descriptions, evaluations, and comments.

They can also download the PDF to their device using the ‘Download’ icon.

Portfolio downloads

Just like other post types, worksheet PDFs will now be included in the ZIP file downloaded from a student’s profile.
