How can I view my DP/CP progress report on web and app as a student?

As a student, you can easily access your progress report on Toddle, both on the web and through the mobile app. The report gives you a comprehensive view of your performance across subjects and DP/CP core components, including ratings on learning goals, teacher feedback, and evidence of learning shared by the school.

This article will guide you on how to view progress reports on both the web and the Toddle app. You’ll learn where to find shared reports, how to download them, and how to view reports across academic years.

Viewing progress reports on web

Navigating to Progress reports

To access your progress reports, click on the ‘Progress reports’ module on your home page.

💡Please note that you will see the ‘Progress report’ module only if the setting is enabled by the school administrator.

As you enter the ‘Progress report’ module, you will see all your reports shared by the school. Here you will see reports in the chronological order when they were shared with you. For each report, you can either download it by clicking the download icon or select ‘View report’ to open and read it directly on your device.

Let’s click on the ‘View report’ option for Term 1 report.

Contents of a report

Inside the report you will see a list of sections in the left panel. You can easily view each section by either scrolling down to it or accessing it from the panel on the left. You will see the following sections in the report: Cover sheet, cover letter, IB learner profile description, Assessment criteria description, Progress summary, Subject reports, DP/CP core, Homeroom adviser comments, and Attendance. Let’s explore each one of these sections in detail.

💡Please note that the sections you see in each report depend on the report configurations decided by the school admin.

Cover sheet

The ‘Cover sheet’ serves as the introductory page of your progress report. It includes key details about you, the school, and the report.

Cover letter

The ‘Cover letter’ provides a formal introduction to your progress report. It contains a message from the school along with signatures from the relevant authorities, offering context and official recognition for the report.

IB learner profile description

The ‘IB learner profile description’ section provides an overview of the IB learner profile attributes, as defined by your school. These attributes reflect the values and skills that the IB aims to develop in DP/CP students, such as being principled, open-minded, and reflective. You can refer to this page to better understand the values guiding your learning journey.

Assessment criteria description

The ‘Assessment criteria description’ section explains the abbreviations used for the ratings on assessment criteria (also known as custom evaluation criteria) throughout the report. It is designed to help you understand how your performance has been evaluated. You can refer to this page to interpret the meaning of any ratings used in the report.

Progress summary

The ‘Progress summary’ page provides a consolidated view of your performance across all subjects, and DP/CP core components. For each subject, and core component, you can view how your performance has been evaluated through metrics such as overall scores, grades, ratings on evaluation criteria, and teacher comments. The specific evaluation details shown in the report may vary based on how the school has set up its reporting and assessment methods.

Depending on your school’s report setup, this page may also include homeroom adviser comments and attendance data.

Subject reports

In the ‘Subject reports’ section, you can view your performance across all the DP/CP subjects. Each subject report may include the subject teacher's name, subject description, your scores and grades, ratings on assessment criteria, teacher comments, and feedback on learning goals.

DP/CP core

In the ‘DP/CP core’ section, you can view your performance across different core components.

Each DP core component report may include the core component’s description, the adviser/supervisor’s name, information related to the project such as total number of hours spent, learning goals achieved, your ratings on assessment criteria, and adviser/supervisor, comments.

Similar to DP core, CP core components may also include the core component’s description, the adviser/supervisor’s name, information related to the project such as total number of hours spent, learning goals achieved, your ratings on assessment criteria (if any), and adviser/supervisor, comments.

Homeroom adviser comments

The ‘Homeroom adviser comments’ section offers reflections from your homeroom teacher. These comments provide an overview of your development and engagement throughout the reporting period. Here you may also see the homeroom teacher’s name if configured by the school.

Depending on the school’s report template, you may see this section appear on the ‘Progress summary’ page or as a separate page in the report.

Attendance

The ‘Attendance’ section presents your attendance data for the given reporting period. The information displayed here is based on your school’s attendance settings. The overall attendance percentage, as well as any details like absences or excused absences, are shared for your reference.

Downloading a report

You can download a PDF version of the report by clicking the download icon in the top-right corner while viewing it. Alternatively, you can also download the report by going back to the ‘Progress report’ page and selecting the download icon next to the ‘View report’ option.

Notifications for shared reports

You’ll receive a notification each time a report is shared with you. To view the notification, click the bell icon in the top-right corner of your homepage. Then, click on the relevant notification to go directly to the report.

Viewing reports for different academic years

To view reports from previous academic years, click the dropdown icon next to the current academic year on the homepage, and then select the year you want to view.

You can also view your progress report on the Toddle app. The steps are similar to those on the web. Here's a brief overview of how to access reports on the app.

Navigating to Progress reports

To access your progress reports, simply tap on the ‘Progress reports’ module on your homepage.

Just like progress reports on web, as you enter the ‘Progress report’ module, you will see all your reports shared by the school. Click on your preferred one to view the detailed report card.

The report will open in a new window, and you can scroll down to read it in full. Refer to this section on the ‘Contents of a report’ for a detailed overview of each section in the report.

Viewing reports across academic years

You can also view progress reports shared in previous academic years by clicking on your profile icon on the homepage. Inside the ‘My profile’ page, you will see the ‘Curriculum and year’ option. Tap on it, and you will be able to switch between academic years, and view any progress reports shared in the selected academic year.
