Let’s take a closer look at each tab.
Final grades
This tab provides the overall score, overall grade (only for MYP and DP), and local grade for each subject you are enrolled in for the selected grading period. You can use the filter option to view final grades from other academic years or grading periods.
By default, the current grading period, such as Term 2 in this case, is pre-selected and shown across all gradebook tabs. Moreover, if you change the grading period using filters, your selected grading period will be retained across all the Gradebook tabs for a seamless experience.
💡 Please note that this tab will only be available when the respective setting is enabled by the administrator. Furthermore, the scores shown here only consider the assessments evaluated and shared by the teachers.
Assessments
Under the ‘Assessments’ tab, you can view aggregated scores and a list of assessments with their corresponding scores for all subjects you are enrolled in. Each subject is displayed as a separate tab, showing data for the current grading period by default. Use the filters to switch between grading periods and academic years and explore past assessment data as needed.
Each subject tab has two sections - Grade summary and Assessments. The Grade summary consists of the category-wise and aggregated grades/scores of the subject for the selected grading period. Note that this section is visible only if the corresponding setting is enabled by your school admin. The Assessments section displays a list of assessments for the subject and grading period, along with their evaluations.
Additionally, acronyms (e.g., SA for Summative assessments, FA for Formative assessments) are displayed alongside each assessment title. This makes it easier for you to identify the type of assessment being reviewed. Upon clicking on an assessment, you will see a detailed view that includes the submission status, evaluation status, and any assessment tools. If the submission is still open, you can add your work and mark it as done directly from this page. Moreover, you can view the activity log for the assessment and initiate a one-on-one conversation with your teacher using the ‘Messaging’ button.
💡 All created assessments will appear in this list irrespective of their evaluation/shared status. However, the scores/grades will only be visible once the assessment has been evaluated and shared by the teacher.
Using the filter icon, you can filter out the relevant academic years, grading period, assessment types, and assessment categories. Note that the grading period list does not contain cumulative grading periods.
