Navigating to the ‘Assignments’ section in your class
The ‘Assignments’ section(formerly class stream) is where you can submit your class assignments and add them to the portfolio. To access it, select a class and click on 'Assignments’ in the collapsible menu on the left. On the landing page, you will find a list of all the tasks assigned to you, divided into three separate tabs:
To Do: This tab displays the tasks that you need to work on.
Scheduled: Tasks under this tab are scheduled for a future date.
Done: This tab contains all the tasks that you have completed.
In the 'Done' tab, you can select any completed task whose response you would like to upload to the portfolio. There are two ways to accomplish this as explained further in the article.
Adding a submitted task to the class portfolio
Option 1: Post a single submission
Under the ‘Done’ tab, navigate to a task for which you have made the submission and use the ‘Add to portfolio’ icon against your response to add it to the portfolio.
💡Please note that the option to 'Add to portfolio' will only appear after you have submitted your work.
Next, you have the option to add written and/or audio remarks or descriptions for your post and adjust post settings such as tagging your classmates, learning elements, and class folders. As the final step, simply click the 'Send for approval' button to submit the post for your teacher's review. Once your teacher approves it, your post will be published.
💡Please note that you can only tag learning elements, peers, and folders in your portfolio posts if these settings have been enabled by your school administrator/coordinator.
Option 2: Post submissions in bulk
If you have multiple submissions for a task and you want to post them all together to the portfolio, you can utilize the bulk upload option. Simply click on the 'Add to portfolio' icon located above all your responses. This will allow you to conveniently upload all your submissions to the portfolio at once.
💡Please note that the option to 'Add to portfolio' will only appear after you have submitted your work.

Approval by teacher
💡 Teacher’s approval for publishing a portfolio post is required only when this setting is enabled by your school administrator/coordinator.
If approval is necessary, any posts awaiting the teacher's approval will be clearly highlighted with a colour-coded banner at the top, as shown below. You will have the ability to edit the post while it is pending approval. The yellow banner will automatically disappear once your teacher approves the post.
💡You will be able to edit your published posts only when the corresponding settings are enabled by your school administrator/coordinator.
Once the teacher has approved the post, you will receive a notification on your homepage. Your post will now appear in the class portfolio feed and all students tagged to it will be able to view, like and comment on it.
If your teacher returns the post, you will receive a notification and the post will be highlighted with a color-coded banner at the top. Additionally, any comments from your teacher will be included. To make revisions, you can use the three-dot menu and then resubmit the post for approval.
