Weekly email summaries for family members
The weekly summary email is automatically sent to family members every week on the day and time scheduled by you from the admin portal. It will inform them about their child’s activities in the past week, important school announcements, upcoming events etc.
Here are the different updates that the email contains:
Attendance: This section includes the student's weekly attendance, allowing family members to easily track their child’s school presence.
Progress report: This section includes progress reports shared in the past week, if any, ensuring that family members receive a clear and timely update on their child's academic performance.
School policies and resources: This section informs families of any new school policies and important resources, ensuring they stay updated on the latest rules, regulations, and available materials at the school.
Tasks and deadlines: This section provides detailed information on both pending and completed tasks for the classes the student is enrolled in.
💡Please note that the email will include upcoming tasks that need to be completed within the next 31 days.
Announcements and events: This section includes school-wide announcements and any upcoming events, scheduled within the next 7 days, ensuring families are well-informed about school activities, holidays, and important updates.
Class activities: This section offers a weekly update of the class portfolio posts where the student is tagged, to help family members engage with their child’s day-to-day classroom experiences.
MYP projects: The weekly summary will also include MYP projects, such as Service as Action (SAA) if the student is in the MYP program. This section provides an overview of the student's activities, detailing the number of activities that are completed, approved, and in draft. It also highlights specific updates from the current week, such as new activities created or existing ones approved.
DP core: The weekly summary for DP students will also include updates related to the DP core components, such as CAS. This section provides an overview of the student's CAS activities, detailing the number of activities that are completed, approved, and in draft. It highlights specific updates from the current week, such as new experiences created or existing ones approved. Additionally, it includes any new feedback or interview posts added to the CAS portfolio.
💡Please note that any section without relevant data for the given week will not be included in the email summary. For instance, if no progress report is shared that week, this section will not be included in the email summary.
This enhancement provides a comprehensive, accessible, and timely overview of the student’s performance, enhancing family engagement and support.
That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
