Updated over a week ago

The Toddle calendar on the web portal provides an intuitive way for family members to stay informed about upcoming school events. This article provides an overview of using the Toddle calendar to track and manage your child’s academic schedule.

Navigating to Calendar

Start by navigating to the ‘Calendar’ card on the family member’s homepage.

Here, you can view all school events and tasks specific to your child’s classes, neatly organized by week. Class tasks are displayed in specific time slots, while school-wide events appear at the top and are not tied to any particular time slot.

The left panel displays tags for assignments, as well as school-wide, which they can toggle on or off based on what they wish to view. Please note that family members cannot create, modify, or delete these tags. The ‘Class’ filter at the top allows you to view assignments tagged to specific classes. You will only see the classes your child is enrolled in, and you can select the specific ones whose tasks you wish to see.

By selecting a specific task/event, you can view detailed information about it, as configured by your teacher. For example, in the image below, a learning experience is selected, displaying the task’s due date, the date when submissions will open, and the date after which submissions will not be accepted, as highlighted below.

Additionally, you can view the teacher’s name who assigned it, and access more details by clicking on the ‘View’ button.

Furthermore, visual indicators will alert you when the due date or submission close date for an assignment has passed. In the example below, you can see that a banner appears indicating that submissions are closed, while the due date is highlighted in red, signaling that it has passed. This allows you to stay on top of deadlines and manage your submissions efficiently.
