As a school administrator, you can now seamlessly export progress report data of your students in various formats, facilitating easy data review, analysis, and sharing. Read this article to know more.
To begin, navigate to the progress report sets for your curriculum from the admin portal. Next, click on the three-dot menu next to the desired progress report set and select the ‘Export report set’ option. Please note that this download option is currently only available for term reports.
Here, you will find three options to export the progress report data:
Formatted data export (including missing fields)
Formatted data export (only completed fields)
Raw data export
Formatted data export (including missing fields)
This option allows you to export an XLS file with all fields included. Empty fields are highlighted to easily spot missing data, making it ideal for data review and identifying missing information.
The exported spreadsheet provides a complete overview of the progress report, organized by individual students, classes, learning goals, and other categories, as shown below. The empty fields highlighted in yellow signify missing data, while the grey fields indicate specific configurations not defined in the template itself.
Formatted data export (only completed fields)
This option enables you to export an XLS file that contains only the filled-in fields of progress reports. It provides an easy-to-read format of progress report data, excluding any empty fields.
Similar to the first option, the exported spreadsheet provides a complete overview of the progress report, organized by individual students, classes, learning goals, and other tabs, as shown below. However, it only includes data with completed fields for convenient reading. The rest of the information remains the same.
Raw Data Export
This option allows you to export a single CSV file that includes data from completed fields only. It is suitable for data analysis or importing into other systems, providing a straightforward dataset without any empty fields.
The exported spreadsheet provides detailed data on each student’s performance across subjects, including class details, teacher names, assessment criteria, and more. However, it is not organised for reading purposes and is more suitable for data analysis or importing into other systems.
That’s all for now. Keep an eye out for the Toddle product newsletter for more product updates!
