If you or your students are having trouble uploading files, images, or documents on Toddle, it could be due to certain browser settings on your device. Follow this guide to resolve the issue.
💡Please note that this article uses macOS as the operating system and Google Chrome as the browser. Depending on your operating system and browser certain settings may vary for you.
Steps to resolve file upload issues
1. Allow pop-ups
Ensure that pop-ups are not blocked in your browser.
Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings in your browser.
Under ‘Pop-ups and redirects’, update the setting to ‘Allow’.
2. Allow third-party cookies
Make sure third-party cookies are allowed in your browser.
Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies in your browser.
Select the ‘Allow third-party cookies’ option.
💡 Pro-tip: After updating this setting, remember to reload your browser.
3. Update your browser
Check if your browser needs an update and ensure it’s running the latest version.
Go to Settings > About Chrome in Google Chrome
The ‘About Chrome’ page will display the current version of your browser and automatically check for updates.
If an update is available, Chrome will auto-download it.
After the update, click the ‘Relaunch Chrome’ button to apply the changes.
4. Restart your device
Restarting your device can sometimes resolve upload issues.
Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
Select ‘Restart’ from the drop-down menu.
Save or close any open applications if prompted.
In the confirmation modal that opens, click on the ‘Restart’ button.
5. Try a different browser
If the issue persists, access the Toddle application using an alternative browser and check if the issue is resolved.
