We’ve added new question types to worksheets! Educators can now include audio and video response questions directly in their worksheets, making learning more interactive and expressive for students. Read this article to learn more.
Add audio and video response questions
As an educator, you can now create audio and video-based questions when creating a worksheet. Simply select Video response or Audio response to get started.
For both of these question types, you can set a maximum recording duration for students.
At the student’s end, these questions appear with dedicated options to record audio or video directly on Toddle or upload existing audio/video files.
💡Please note that only one audio or video file can be added/uploaded per question as your response.
While recording audio responses, students can start, pause, restart, and stop their recordings using a floating toolbar. This toolbar can be repositioned anywhere on the screen using the six-dot handle.
Similarly, while recording video responses, students have the ability to start, pause, and stop the recording. They can also choose to view or hide the question during the recording, giving them better control over their workspace and focus.
Once students submit their audio or video responses, you can play them back directly within the worksheet. You can then assign marks and leave comments, just like you would for any other question type.
That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
