As a family member, you can actively view your child's DP projects and internal and external assessments through Toddle, becoming an important part of their learning journey. You can easily track their overall progress, submission deadlines, supervisor feedback, and much more!

Extended Essay
To begin, click on the ‘Extended Essay’ card located under DP Core on your homepage.
You will land on your child’s extended essay dashboard page. It includes the title of their essay and the name of their supervisor. You can see the overall progress of the essay, as assessed by the supervisor, giving you an idea of how things are progressing. It also shows the number of reflections your child has completed, which helps track their ongoing thoughts and insights. Additionally, there's a list of deadlines with clear indications of whether they have been met or are upcoming, keeping you informed about important milestones in the essay's development.
The 'Guidance' tab at the top of the page is where you’ll find all the learning materials related to extended essay shared by your child’s coordinator and the resources offered by Toddle.
Clicking on the ‘Extended Essay’ card on the progress dashboard will take you to its detailed view. You can use the left-hand panel to navigate between different sections, each representing a particular aspect of the extended essay.

Proposal
This section provides essential details such as the chosen subject, response language, topic, title, and research question your child has chosen for their extended essay.
You'll find helpful icons next to each prompt in the extended essay sections. Click the bulb icon for a brief description and requirements of the prompt. Use the dialogue icon to read comments from both your child and their supervisor on each prompt or response. These icons are accessible throughout the extended essay components on Toddle for your convenience.
Plan of action
Under ‘Plan of Action’, you can view the project timeline your child has set for themselves, with intermediate milestones and deadlines.
Reflection notes
The ‘Researcher’s Reflection Space (RRS)’ is where your child can record reflections throughout their research process.
Essay
This is where your child will submit the first and the final draft of their essay, which will then be submitted to the IB. You can view and save the essay drafts by clicking on the download button.
RPPF
The 'RPPF' section is specifically designed for your child to document their three mandatory reflection sessions that they need to have with their supervisor as per the IB requirements. These reflections are added to the RPPF form, which the supervisor can download from Toddle for submission to the IB.
Assessment
Here, you can find the scores that your child has received, given by the supervisor based on their observation of your child’s progress. You can find details of each evaluation and also the predicted score for your child’s extended essay.
Theory of Knowledge - Essay
The TOK essay dashboard is where you will see an overview of your child’s TOK essay progress. To reach here, click on ‘Theory of Knowledge - Essay’ (under DP Core) on your homepage.
The landing page offers a snapshot of your child's Theory of Knowledge (TOK) essay progress. It displays their chosen essay title and supervisor's name, along with the overall progress and status as assessed by the supervisor. You'll also find the number of completed TK/PPF interactions and a list of upcoming deadlines set by the TOK coordinator, including their current status.
By clicking on ‘Guidance’, you will find resources that will help you gain more information about the Theory of Knowledge - Essay and its importance in the DP curriculum.

TOK Essay components
Proposal
The ‘Proposal’ section on Toddle allows you to view which title your child has picked from the list provided by the IB. The proposal status as marked by your child’s supervisor will be indicated in the top bar of your screen.

Reflection
The reflection space can be used by your child to record reflections throughout their writing process to improve their work. These could be notes, photos, videos, links, and more. Your child’s supervisor can view these reflections and comment on each one.
TOK essay
Under the ‘TOK essay’ section, your child can submit draft essays and a final essay for their supervisor’s review. You can view and download your child’s essay by using the download button.
TK/PFF
The ‘TK/PPF’ section is where your child can document the 3 compulsory interactions that they are supposed to have with their supervisor as per IB requirements. When the entire form has been completed, your child’s supervisor can download it from Toddle for submission to the IB.

Collaborative sciences project
The ‘Collaborative sciences project’ dashboard is where you will see an overview of your child’s CSP progress. To reach here, click on ‘Collaborative sciences project’ (under Projects) on your homepage.
On the landing page, you'll find a summary of your child’s CSP. It includes the group name, research topic, project collaborators, assigned supervisors, overall progress, and deadlines set by the school administrator.
The ‘Guidance’ tab at the top contains an introduction to the group 4 project. You can refer to it anytime to understand the Collaborative sciences project goals and objectives as envisaged by IB.
Clicking on the CSP card on the progress dashboard will take you to its detailed view. Use the left-hand panel to navigate between different sections, each representing a particular aspect of the Collaborative sciences project.
Collaborative sciences Project Components
Planning
The ‘Planning’ section is where you will find the research topic, problem statement, and other additional information on the project that your child’s group has added as part of the proposal.
Action
In the 'Action' tab, you'll discover comments and interactions among your child and their group members regarding the ongoing research and investigation for the project.
Evaluation/Presentation
This is the section where your child’s group members will individually or collectively upload their final submissions for the group 4 project. You can view and download their project by clicking on the three dot option and downloading the sublission.
Reflection
Students can use this space to write a reflective statement of about 50 words outlining their involvement in the group 4 project. This statement is included in their ICCS form to be submitted to the IB.
