As a family member, you can actively view your child's DP projects and internal and external assessments through Toddle, becoming an important part of their learning journey. You can easily track their overall progress, submission deadlines, supervisor feedback, and more.

Navigating to DP/CP core modules
You can access any of the DP/CP core modules directly from the curriculum homepage, as shown below.
💡 These cards will appear on your homepage only if your school administrator has enabled these modules on Toddle. Their visibility will also depend on whether your child is enrolled in the DP or CP core components.
Let’s explore each of the modules in detail.
Extended essay
Upon clicking on the ‘Extended essay’ card, you will land on your child’s EE dashboard page. It displays a summary of their EE, including their research question and the name of their supervisor. You can see the status and overall progress of the essay, as marked by the supervisor, giving you an idea of how things are progressing. It also shows the number of reflections your child has completed, which helps track their ongoing thoughts and insights.
Below, there's a list of deadlines with clear indications of whether they have been met or are upcoming, keeping you informed about important milestones in the essay's development.
The 'Guidance' tab at the top of the page is where you will find all the learning materials related to the extended essay shared by your child’s coordinator and the resources offered by Toddle.

Additionally, you can view the status of your child’s EE - such as ‘Draft’, ‘Approved’, or ‘Completed’ - at any time from the page header on the top right. Once marked as completed, no further edits can be made by your child unless the supervisor changes the status back to ‘Draft’ or ‘Approved’.
You can also view the project’s overall progress in the same header. Both the project status and overall progress are updated by their supervisor.
Plan of action
Under ‘Plan of Action’, you can view the project timeline your child has set for themselves, with intermediate milestones and deadlines.
Reflection notes
The ‘Researcher’s Reflection Space’ (RRS) is where your child can record reflections throughout their research process. These could be notes, photos, videos, links, and more. Your child’s supervisor can view these reflections and comment on each one.
Essay
This is where your child will submit the first and the final draft of their essay, which will then be submitted to the IB. You can view and download your child’s essay using the 3-dot menu next to the file.
RPPF
The 'RPPF' section is specifically designed for your child to document their three mandatory reflection sessions that they need to have with their supervisor as per the IB requirements. These reflections are added to the RPPF form, which the supervisor can download from Toddle for submission to the IB.
Assessment
Here, you can find the scores that your child has received, given by the supervisor based on their observation of your child’s progress. You can find the criteria-based evaluation as well as the predicted score for your child’s extended essay. Please note that this section is visible only if enabled by the school admin.
Theory of Knowledge - Essay
Upon clicking on the ‘Theory of knowledge - Essay’ card, you will arrive at your child’s TOK essay dashboard page. It displays a summary of their TOK essay, including their chosen essay title and supervisor’s name, along with the overall progress and status, as assessed by the supervisor, and the number of completed TK/PPF interactions.

TK/PFF
The ‘TK/PPF’ section is where your child can document the 3 compulsory interactions that they are supposed to have with their supervisor as per IB requirements. When the entire form has been completed, your child’s supervisor can download it from Toddle for submission to the IB.
Assessment
Here, you can find the scores given by the supervisor based on their observation of your child’s progress. You can find details of each evaluation and also the predicted score for your child’s TOK essay. Please note that this section is visible only if enabled by the school admin.

The ‘Guidance’ tab at the top contains an introduction to the group 4 project. You can refer to it anytime to understand the Collaborative sciences project goals and objectives as envisaged by IB.

Planning
The ‘Planning’ section is where you will find the project title, problem statement, additional details, list of activities, and any supporting documents for the project that your child’s group has added as part of the proposal.

Action: Investigation
The ‘Action: Investigation’ is where your child’s group members can record their learning and reflections throughout their investigation process. These could be notes, photos, videos, links, and more. Note that all posts made by students of a group will appear here.
Your child’s supervisor can view these reflections and comment on each one.
Action: Presentation
This is the section where your child’s group members will individually or collectively upload their final work/presentation for CSP. You can view and download their project files by clicking on the 3-dot menu.
Reflection
Your child can use this space to write an individual reflective statement of about 100 words outlining their involvement in the CSP. This statement is included in their CSP reflection sheet, which is submitted to the IB.
Creativity, Activity, Service
Upon clicking on the ‘Creativity, Activity, Service’ card, you will arrive at your child’s CAS dashboard page. It displays a comprehensive overview of their CAS portfolio and overall progress.
At the top right, you will find the status and overall progress of their CAS journey, as marked by their CAS adviser. Below, you will find individual sections for ‘Interests and goals,’ ‘Evidences and reflections,’ ‘Feedback,’ and ‘Interviews.’ Refer to this section to learn more about them.
Further down, you can view all their CAS experiences and projects, including key details such as assigned supervisors, CAS strands, tagged learning outcomes, supporting evidence, reflections, and duration. At the bottom, visual insights in the form of graphs provide a clear summary of their CAS progress. Note that the insights on total hours and hourly progress will show up only if the school administrator has enabled the settings for logging CAS hours.

Clicking on an individual CAS experience/project on the CAS portfolio dashboard will take you to its detailed view. Use the left-hand panel to navigate between different sections, each representing a particular aspect of CAS.
Title and basics
This section displays the basic information, including the title, cover image, start/end dates, and total duration of the CAS experience.
Below, you can view the CAS strands your child aims to address through this experience/project. In addition, they will categorize the experience/project by selecting the appropriate approaches for each CAS strand. As they progress or complete the experience, you can also view their logged time, specifying the hours allocated to each strand.
Your child has an option to include CAS stages in the experience/project. Enabling this will create an additional section where they can elaborate on how the CAS stages will be applied to their experience/project.
Furthermore, you can view uploaded documents, such as a risk assessment form, if any. Finally, you can view the added supervisors and collaborators in the experience/project.

If CAS stages are enabled in the ‘Title and Basics’ section, a dedicated section will appear in the left panel, where your child will provide further details on how these stages are applied to the experience/project.
Evidences and reflections
You can view all submitted evidence and reflections in this section. Your child can submit evidence in various formats, including notes, voice recordings, files, photos, videos, links, and more. For each entry, you can view tagged outcomes below the corresponding evidence and reflections.
Your child’s supervisor can view these reflections and comment on each one.
Final supervisor comment
Upon completion of the experience/project, the supervisor will provide a comment summarizing your child’s involvement, engagement, and growth throughout the experience. This serves as a reflection on their progress and helps validate their participation in CAS.

In this section, you can view your child’s overall goals and aims for the CAS programme. Use the chat option to view conversations between your child and their adviser. The information inputted here can be reviewed by their adviser, who may provide feedback through comments.
Evidences and reflections
In this section, you can track your child’s progress towards achieving the seven learning outcomes (LO) set by the IB. Under each LO, you will find an aggregation of all the evidence from CAS experiences/projects associated with that specific outcome.
Once your child has presented sufficient evidence for an LO, and the adviser marks it as achieved, a green tick will appear next to it, as shown below.
Feedback
In this section, you can view feedback from your child’s CAS adviser on their overall CAS engagement. You can also click on the individual feedback and view any one-on-one chat between your child and their adviser.
Interviews
As per the IB guidelines, your child must undertake 3 formal CAS interviews during the course of the two years of DP. If enabled by their school administrator, you will be able to view the CAS interview comments logged by their adviser for the three formal interviews.
Reflective project
