Behaviour insights

The 'Behaviour insights' tab provides key metrics to help you track behaviour incidents recorded for students in a particular programme. By default, it displays data from the last 7 days of the current programme, but you can change the duration and view data for any other curriculum using the filters shown below. Let’s explore each insight category in more detail.

Overview

The ‘Overview’ tab provides a summary of the behaviour incidents recorded for the selected programme and duration.

At the top, you’ll see the total number of incidents that occurred during the selected period. This includes both published and resolved incidents, followed by a graph showing their distribution over time.

💡Please note that, unlike the behaviour management module, the incidents listed here include all published and resolved incidents within the programme, regardless of whether or not they have been directly shared with you.

Below the graph, you will find a ‘Sentiment overview’, displaying the distribution of positive, negative, and neutral incidents. Additionally, the ‘Category overview’ provides a breakdown of incidents based on the categories defined in your school’s behaviour management module.

💡Please note that the 'Category overview' graph only displays categories with logged incidents. Additionally, if a category has been deleted but incidents were logged against it, those incidents and their categories will still appear in the insights.

Next, you’ll find a ‘Grade-wise overview’ and ‘Location-wise overview’ of the recorded events, helping you understand how incidents are distributed across grades and where they most commonly occur. Each category is represented by a distinct colour for easier analysis.

💡Please note that since location is not a mandatory field when recording events, the data may not fully capture all locations where incidents occurred.

Behaviour insights by category

In the 'by category' tab, you can view a detailed overview of incidents recorded for each category. A bar graph visualizes the distribution of incidents across categories, while the table view displays categories along with their associated sentiments and the total number of incidents. To explore a specific category further, simply click the arrow next to it.

💡Please note that only categories with logged incidents are displayed here. Additionally, if a category has been deleted but incidents were logged against it, those incidents and their categories will still appear in the insights.
