Toddle provides a wide range of options for creating a portfolio post, including images, audio, video, files, workbook, link and notes. Depending on the type of post you choose, you can directly capture or record the content or upload it from your device, OneDrive, or Google Drive.

💡Please note that the options you see here may vary depending on the post types selected by your school administrators.

💡 While adding files via Google Drive, you can choose to add them as a link or file. If you share them as a link, make sure that the linked file has appropriate access. In case you are sharing them as a file, any changes made to the file after posting in the portfolio will not reflect in the attached file.

Step 2: Once you have uploaded the media, perform the following actions:

1. Add a description

You have the option to provide written and/or audio remarks or descriptions for your post.

2. Tag your peers

Utilize the 'Tag students' feature to tag your fellow classmates to the post. Please note that you can only tag students from your class in the post.

3. Tag learning goals

To tag learning goals, you have three options:

  • Choose from existing tasks or units of your class.

  • Access the complete pool of learning goals for your curriculum.

  • Duplicate learning goals from recent posts.

For example, if you want to explore all the available learning goals in your curriculum, selecting the ‘All learning goals’ option will show you a comprehensive display of all the learning goals in one window. From here, you can easily navigate through each learning goal, make individual selections, or choose all of the goals. Additionally, you can use keywords to search and refine your selection.

💡You will be able to tag learning goals, your peers and folders in your portfolio posts only when the corresponding settings are enabled by your school administrator/coordinator.

Approval by teacher

💡 Teacher’s approval for publishing a portfolio post is required only when this setting is enabled by your school administrator/coordinator.

If approval is necessary, any posts awaiting the teacher's approval will be highlighted with a colour-coded banner at the top, as shown below. You will have the ability to edit or delete the post while it is pending approval. The yellow banner will automatically disappear once your teacher approves the post.

Once the teacher has approved the post, you will receive a notification on your homepage. Your post will now appear in the class portfolio feed and all students tagged to it will be able to view, like and comment on it.

You will be able to edit your published posts only when the corresponding settings are enabled by your school administrator/coordinator. When editing a post, please note that the attachment cannot be changed. However, you have the flexibility to modify other attributes such as the description, tagged students, learning goals and tagged folders.
