Introducing Gradebook for DP EE and TOK and MYP PP and CP

We are excited to introduce Gradebook dedicated to the DP core elements of EE and TOK, as well as MYP projects. This tool offers a centralized place to track and update student progress, log supervision hours, and manage grades for these essential components. Dive into this article to learn more.

Gradebook for EE

The new 'Gradebook' tab on the Extended essay landing page offers a seamless way to track students' EE grades from a central location. School admins can view and edit data for all students in the selected batch, while supervisors can only view and edit data for the students they supervise.

For each student, you can view and edit their EE criteria-wise score and comments, predicted IB grade, supervisor comments and supervision hours. Additionally, you can track and update the current status and overall progress of each student's extended essay.

Use the filters at the top to sort students by registration category and overall progress status. School admins will also have an additional filter to view students based on their supervisors.

The Gradebook offers a convenient download option for record-keeping. Using the download icon, you can download the entire Gradebook data in spreadsheet format to your local device.

Gradebook for TOK

The new 'Gradebook' tab on the landing page of the TOK essay or TOK exhibition offers a seamless way to track students' TOK grades from a central location. School admins can view and edit data for all students in the selected batch, while supervisors can only view and edit data for the students they supervise.

For each student, you can view and edit their TOK essay and exhibition scores, IB grades, supervisor comments and supervision hours. Additionally, you can track and update the current status and overall progress of each student's TOK essay and exhibition.

Overall TOK evaluation

The ‘Overall TOK evaluation’ section displays each student’s total TOK score and grade. These are calculated based on the weightage assigned to the two TOK components (essay and exhibition) and the grade boundaries you set. The total score is out of 30, with grades ranging from A to E, according to IB guidelines.

While scores are auto-calculated and cannot be edited, you can override TOK grades using the pencil icon. Manually overridden grades will be highlighted in yellow.

To view or edit the weightage assigned to the TOK essay and exhibition, as well as the defined grade boundaries, click the gear icon located at the top right.

In the ‘Assessment categories’ tab, you can assign weightage to each component and set grade boundaries individually.

Additionally, in the ‘Grade boundaries’ tab, you can configure the overall grade boundaries to determine the TOK grade, ranging from A to E.

To declutter the dashboard view, you can use the category filter at the top to sort students by their registration category.

The Gradebook offers a convenient download option for record-keeping. Using the download icon highlighted in the above screen, you can download the entire Gradebook data in a spreadsheet format to your local device.

Gradebook for PP/CP

The new 'Gradebook' tab on the MYP Personal Project/Community Project landing page offers a seamless way to track students' grades from a central location. School admins can view and edit data for all students in the selected batch, while supervisors can only view and edit data for the students they supervise.

For each student, you can view and edit their PP/CP criteria-wise score and comments, final grade, supervisor comments and the supervision hours. Additionally, you can track and update the current status and overall progress of each student's project.

Use the filters at the top to sort students by their overall progress status. School admins will also have an additional filter to view students based on their supervisors.
