Toddle now offers educators the ability to transfer ownership of a unit to another educator. This ensures that units can be managed collaboratively, enhancing workflow and fostering greater collaboration among teaching staff. Let’s explore this feature in detail.
Within the ‘Unit planning’ page, click on the three-dot menu next to your preferred unit.
Next, navigate to the ‘Teachers’ tab, and select the teacher you would like to transfer ownership to.
💡Only administrators and unit owners can transfer the ownership of a unit
The dropdown list includes both teachers and administrators within the selected curriculum.
After selecting your preferred teacher, click the ‘Make owner’ option from the dropdown menu next to their name.
Once the transfer is complete, the original owner of the unit will retain editing rights. However, this can be modified based on your preference.
All administrators have editing rights by default, which cannot be modified. Therefore, you cannot change an individual administrator's rights to 'viewing' only, as highlighted below.
Once complete, click ‘Done’ to save your changes.
If you return to the page after saving your changes, you will notice that administrators’ names do not appear in the individual list below, unless made owner. This ensures that the list remains limited to teachers only.
That's all for now. We will continue to innovate and improve to make your Toddle experience better each day!
