Toddle enables family members to actively engage in their child's learning journey. As a family member, you can navigate through the class stream to have an authentic insight into your child’s learning. This article is a walkthrough of the class stream features that you can access on Toddle as a family member.

To access class stream in family app, select one of your child’s classes and tap on ‘Class stream’ from the bottom menu. Within the class stream you will see three tabs on top:

To Do: These are the tasks that your child needs to work on

Scheduled: Tasks under this tab are scheduled for a future date

Done: This tab will show all tasks completed by your child

You can search for a particular task by using the search icon on the top right. Alternatively, you can filter tasks using the funnel icon on the top right, based on the folders they are tagged to or based on their status.

Clicking on a particular task under any of the tabs will open the task in view-only mode. Here, you can view the task details, submission and evaluation status, student’s submitted work, teacher resources, if any, and teacher evaluation, if it has been completed.

The ‘Messaging’ button on the top right will take you to the page where you can view all the private conversations between your child and their teacher within the ‘Teacher’ tab. ‘Class discussion’ tab will show all the conversations between your child and their classmates if enabled by the teacher.

Toddle enables you to have a quick look at your child’s to-do list with a single tap on the ‘To-do’ card on your home page.

This will show you your child’s tasks segregated into two tabs - To-do and Done. Within the To-do tab, you can see tasks divided into Upcoming, Overdue, and No due date sections.

Under the Done tab, you will see all tasks completed by your child in the current week, last week, and earlier than that. The filter icon on the top right allows you to filter these tasks based on your child’s classes.

If you are a family member of more than one child, you can switch between children to view and engage with the learning journey of any of your children. To do so, click on your child’s name and select another child from the homepage. You can now navigate to the To-do list and classes of this child in the same manner.

To access class stream on Toddle web, choose one of your child’s classes from your home page and select ‘Class stream’ from the collapsible menu on the left. Within the class stream you will see three tabs on top:
