Student portfolio on Toddle is a powerful way for families to gain an authentic insight into their child's learning journey, effortlessly navigating through portfolio entries and engaging with these posts. This article is a walkthrough of some key features of the student portfolio that are accessible to family members on Toddle.

This article will cover:

  1. Viewing the class portfolio via the classroom

  2. Viewing the class portfolio via the student profile

Viewing the class portfolio via the classroom

To access the student portfolio on the web, select your child's class from the homepage and click on the 'Portfolio' tab in the menu on the left. At the top, you will find two tabs:

  • Overview: It gives you an overview of the purpose of the class portfolio.

Portfolio: Here, you will find all the posts in which your child is tagged, with the most recent post displayed at the top. You can conveniently browse and preview all the attachments within a post without switching screens.

Locate specific posts using the search bar or filter them by ‘Tags’.

If the post includes your child's submission for a class assessment, simply click on the name included in the post title to preview its details.

To delve deeper into a post, simply click on it. The expanded view will provide various details such as the description, attached media files, evaluation, if applicable, and tags.

As an active participant in your child's learning, you can also view comments added to the post or add one of yours. Furthermore, to obtain a copy of the attached media file, simply click the download icon above it.

💡You will be able to view the evaluation, tagged learning experiences, comment, and download media only when the corresponding settings are enabled by your school administrator.

Alternatively, you can view your child’s posts from their student profile section, as shown below. The same set of actions can be carried out here as well.
