Review and manage assignments more smoothly with a cleaner interface and smarter controls:

Keep submissions open after evaluation: You can now give students the flexibility to submit or update their work even after an assignment has been evaluated. This allows you to record grades on time while choosing whether submissions close automatically or remain open. Any updates made after evaluation are clearly flagged, making it easy to track and re-evaluate when needed.

Build custom project guidance: Take full control of project guidance pages for students and supervisors across the IB continuum - EE, TOK, and CAS in the Diploma Programme; PP, CP, and SAA in the Middle Years Programme; and SL, RP, and CE in the Career-related Programme. With our powerful new doc-style editor, you can directly write, format, and embed rich content or import guidance from previous years.

Set up SAA reflection questions at grade level: You can now map MYP Service as Action (SAA) reflection questions to specific grades. This gives you greater flexibility and ensures that each activity retains its own set of grade-specific questions. As students move up a grade, their earlier responses remain intact and are not overwritten by new grade-level reflections, making it easier to preserve and review their progress year by year.

A brand-new navigation experience: The Admin portal has been redesigned for faster, more intuitive access to school and programme-level settings. The earlier card-based layout has been replaced with a new sidebar and dropdown navigation, making it easier to move between school-wide and programme-specific areas. A new search bar at the top lets you instantly find settings, modules, and configurations across the school.

Create class-specific announcements: You can now create and share announcements directly from within your classes! Add banners, attachments, and schedule posts to keep your students and families informed, all without leaving the class workspace. This update helps you manage communication more efficiently while keeping class updates organized and focused.

Replay student writing with Google document playback: You can now replay a student’s entire Google Doc writing process, from start to finish. The playback shows edits, paste actions, and time spent actively working, giving you a clearer picture of student effort and process. With controls to adjust speed, jump through edits, and resize the window, grading becomes more transparent and insightful.

View Toddle events in your personal calendar: Families can now sync their Toddle calendar directly with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, or any other calendar app to view school events, holidays, and class assignments. Choose what to sync - such as assignments or school-wide activities - and stay up to date at all times.

Plan recurring events with ease: You can now create daily, weekly, or monthly recurring events in Toddle calendar. Customize the repeat pattern, skip non-operational days, and easily edit or delete one or all events in a series, and keep your calendar up to date with minimal effort.

A refreshed Family app experience: The Toddle Family app now features a redesigned interface that makes navigation smoother and more intuitive. Access Announcements, Assignments, Attendance, Portfolio, Gradebook, and more with ease from a clean, organized view - helping families stay effortlessly connected to their child’s learning journey.

View and manage grades with ease: The new compact gradebook features a streamlined layout that helps you view more students and assignments at once. Each assignment column now displays key details, such as assessment type, due date, grading category, and evaluation status, in a compact header cell, and you can customise visible details through Display settings for a cleaner, faster grading experience.

Introducing IBIS registration on Toddle:

Integrate custom LTI apps seamlessly: As a school administrator, you can now integrate any external learning tool that supports LTI 1.1 or 1.3 directly in Toddle. Configure launch types, privacy levels, and grade passback options to tailor how the tool works inside Toddle. Once set up, teachers can access these tools directly within their classes.

Download and import units with greater flexibility: You can now download complete unit plans, including Unit Flow and Evidencing sections, as shareable PDFs. Choose between a quick version or a detailed custom download with specific tabs and sections. What’s more! When importing units from your School library, you can decide whether to include teacher and student reflections, giving you more control over what carries forward into your new unit.
